Introducing Shuttle Time At Home

We are pleased to launch Shuttle Time At Home with Badminton Victoria – bringing the Shuttle Time experience of beginner badminton into your family home and backyard.

We know how much children and families in Victoria miss being out playing sport and badminton during this time. By launching Shuttle Time At Home, we hope to bring the joy, ease and success experienced in our Shuttle Time programs and give every child a chance to play badminton – a fun and exciting sport for all ages and abilities.

Presented in the form of mini lesson and instructional videos for the kids to follow along, we will have five (5) new weekly episodes which will be released from 18 September to 16 October 2020. In each episode, the kids will learn something new from some of real badminton coaches and athletes from around Victoria.

Shuttle Time At Home is the perfect opportunity for primary-school-aged children to take a break, get active and learn a new skill or two. No previous badminton experience is required and for those without badminton equipment, we offer ideas of household items that could be used as a substitute instead.

Each episode will be available to the public on YouTube, Facebook and Instagram. We also offer access to kids activity sheets and participation certificates upon signing-up online here:
