2021 State Para Badminton Development Squad

We are excited to have launched our first Badminton Victoria Para Badminton Development Squad recently! Our first session at Altona Badminton Centre – WSBA Inc. went swimmingly, with newly appointed coach Vee-Vian Chong (Westside Badminton) leading the squad in 2021.

Congratulations to our eight (8) athletes on being part of the first Victorian state squad for para badminton in Australia:

  • Céline Vinot (Melbourne Smashers Badminton Club)
  • Douglas Youlten (Ability Para Badminton Club)

We would like to thank Ian Bridge of Badminton Australia and Badminton Oceania for supporting the initiative. We look forward to continuing leading high-performance para badminton with the establishment of the squad.
