Program Overview
The Sporting Schools program, launched by the Australian Government, aims to encourage children to participate in sports and develop lifelong active habits. Open to young children and students, this initiative also welcomes parents to join in, fostering confidence in sports from an early age.
Why Badminton?
Badminton is a fantastic sport for young people, promoting physical fitness, mental agility, and teamwork. A rearch article from the Clearinghouse for Sport highlights badminton as the most popular LOTE (Language Other Than English) sport-related activity among Australian youth. The game helps players develop:
✔ Physical fitness – Running, jumping, swinging, and improving endurance and muscle strength.
✔ Mental sharpness – Enhancing concentration, decision-making, and reaction speed.
✔ Teamwork & Communication – Whether in singles or doubles, badminton fosters cooperation and coordination.
Badminton is an inclusive sport suitable for all skill levels, offering fun for beginners and strategic depth for advanced players. Join us and experience the joy of badminton!
