As part of the Regional Badminton Revitalisation Program, the Wonthaggi and District Badminton Association will focus on:

Youth Engagement:
Creating exciting pathways for young people to get into badminton — as players, leaders, and changemakers. We’re creating opportunities for young people to get active, try something new, and connect with others through sport.

Community Activation:
Hosting inclusive, vibrant events to bring the community together through sport. Our community activation events are designed to be fun, welcoming, and open to everyone—no experience needed!

CALD Community

Creating welcoming spaces where women, girls, and people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds can get together and enjoy the game of badminton to foster community ownership, build lasting social networks, and create supportive environments.

This program is all about community activation and inclusion, and we’re especially excited to support underrepresented groups in being part of something active, social, and sustainable.
