Each year, Badminton Victoria recognises the remarkable achievements and contributions of individuals and groups who have enriched the badminton 

Junior MVP (Female) - Alphonsa Bijomon

Alphonsa Bijomon has been a standout star this year, representing BV Junior State with exceptional performances at national and international competitions. Her dedication, skill, and sportsmanship have set her apart, earning her the well-deserved title of MVP for 2024.

 

Senior MVP (Female) - Jazmine Lam 

A standout athlete and role model, Jasmine Lam’s exceptional performance in the 2024 World Junior Badminton Championships has solidified her reputation as a top player. Her leadership and commitment have earned her the Senior MVP (Female) Award. 

 

 Coach of the Year (Senior) - Rizwan Azam 

Rizwan’s exceptional leadership and ability to inspire his players have led to remarkable results in national and international competitions. His dedication to fostering both technical and mental resilience has earned him the Coach of the Year (Senior) Award. 

 

 Coach of the Year (Junior) - Nick Ong 

Recognized for his commitment to developing junior athletes, Nick Ong has played a pivotal role in inspiring young players at both club and school levels. His dedication has earned him the Coach of the Year (Junior) Award.
