The LGBTI+ Edition is the first session of the Badminton Victoria Talk Series Love All; Play. During the live event, we talked with guest speakers from LGBTI+ people and allies in our badminton and sporting community.

About our Guest Speakers:
- Rudy Rigg is a 23-year-old, non-binary transgender person from Birraranga / Melbourne. He is a previous Badminton Victoria State Player and from a family with a huge history in the sport. Read more
- Christine Granger, CEO of Proud 2 Play She has a wealth of experience and knowledge of working in the sporting, not for profit, and government sectors across different continents. With a passion for sport development, Christine has spent most of her career working with marginalised communities. Read more

The Melbourne Smashers is a friendly LGBTQI badminton club based at Melbourne Sports and Aquatic Centre (MSAC). After 8 years on the courts, the club have grown from a small group of 10 to nearly 200 members; playing 3 times a week, with around 60 players per session. Read more
