Junior selectors play an important part in identifying emerging talent for Victorian state teams. 

Selectors can choose to either nominate for a year (and take part in the selection for all junior teams), or for specific age group events.

The separate age groups will give you the opportunity (parents, coaches) to nominate as selectors for age groups where you have no direct involvement or tie. This will give an introduction to being a selector, without having to commit to a full year's worth of tournaments, and will give you valuable insight into the experience of the selection process.
