Badminton Abilities is coming back to Springers Leisure Centre during 2023.
Are you looking for a weekly activity and a friendly group of people with similar abilities to you?
Our All Abilities Badminton sessions welcome beginners, people living with a disability or limited mobility to play badminton in a relaxed and casual environment. Supporters, carers, guardians and allies are also welcome!
Registration is essential! As we have limited capacity (10 participants per session).
- NDIS friendly
- Youth (Under 18s) - FREE
- Adults - $10 per session or $110 for the season (13 sessions)
- Adult Club Members (log-in required - $8 per session or $100 for the season (13 sessions)
- Mentoring available for new players
- Lightweight racquets and shuttlecocks provided
- Standing and wheelchair participation welcomed
- For wheelchair players, please bring your anti-tippers. Where possible we will have a sports wheelchair available for you to try at the session.
- Invite family, friends, guardians, carers and supporters
Sessions will run every Wednesday at 5:30 - 7:00 PM at Springers Leisure Centre (400 Cheltenham Road, Keysborough VIC 3173)
Attendees can receive guidance from coaches Michelle Be and Joseph Yeung.

We will meet you at the Badminton Stadium.
Springers Leisure Centre is conveniently located at 400 Cheltenham Road, Keysborough.
Please note that the building is a few hundred metres away from the main road.
Public Transport
If you're taking public transport, buses 812 and 828 stop near the centre on Cheltenham Road.
Car Drop-off
An accessible drop-off point is available at the roundabout in front of the building.

To get there, please take the first (1st) exit (COVID-testing entrance) when you approach the first (1st) roundabout.

At the second (2nd) roundabout, take the second (2nd) exit to turn right onto Keysborough Road.
