Hello everyone and welcome to the Badminton Victoria website.
This new website represents the Vision and Purpose of Badminton Victoria (BV). With the release of the Strategic Plan 2021-2025, we are looking forward to working with our badminton community. The Strategic Plan has a strong focus on supporting our members and participation in badminton, to develop and grow our sport in popularity from grassroots all the way through to the elite level. We will continue to build on the strong foundation our sport enjoys for an even more vibrant future.
Join us! It does not matter if you are trying badminton for the first time or you have been participating for many years, everyone is welcome to be a part of our growing community. Badminton has been a part of my life since I was 10 years old, it has always provided me with a safe and fun environment, a welcoming community, and lifelong friendships. I am forever grateful for the experiences and opportunities it has given me and because of this, I am humbled and honoured to serve as President.
I believe in Our Values and Our Purpose; it is “our why” and it guides us into the future and prepares us to take on new challenges and opportunities. I am excited about our future, and I hope you are too.
