Junior Badminton Program Helps Horsham Youth Stay Active and Connected

The Horsham Badminton Association recently delivered a successful Junior Badminton Program as part of the Regional Badminton Revitalisation Program, funded by Sports and Recreation Victoria and supported by Badminton Victoria. The program was designed to introduce young people to badminton, develop their skills, and provide a fun, inclusive environment where participants could stay active, build confidence, and form new friendships within the local community.

Badminton Victoria is pleased to continue its partnership with Beyond Bank Australia for the 2026–2027 season.  Beyond Bank has been a valued supporter of Badminton Victoria for several years, supporting initiatives that benefit clubs, volunteers and members across the state.

Inside the BWF Shuttle Time Coaching Course

A new group of coaches is ready to inspire the next generation of players following the successful delivery of the BWF Shuttle Time Coaching Course at the Melbourne Sports and Aquatic Centre (MSAC). Held on Sunday, June 28, from 12:30 pm to 5:00 pm, the course brought together eight participants eager to learn how to introduce badminton to school students in a fun, safe, and inclusive way.

Feathered Friends Continues to Thrive in Ballarat

With the funding period concluding in October 2025, strong positive feedback from participants encouraged the club to continue Feathered Friends as an ongoing program. It is now running every Tuesday, with the Ballarat Badminton Association committed to sustaining it. The club welcomes more women and girls to join, make connections, and enjoy the benefits of social cohesion through badminton.

Come & Try Badminton in Macedon

The Macedon Ranges Badminton Club recently hosted a successful Come and Try Badminton event as part of the Regional Badminton Revitalisation Program, funded by Sports and Recreation Victoria. The event aimed to introduce badminton to the local community and encourage greater participation within the club.

Vic Blue Crowned Champions at the 2026 Australian National Para Badminton Championships

Badminton Victoria is proud to celebrate the outstanding achievements of our para badminton athletes at the 2026 Australian National Para Badminton Championships, held from 29–30 May at the Altona Badminton Centre in Altona North, Victoria. The annual national event brought together para badminton players from across Australia to compete at the highest level of domestic competition.
